Welcome to the Radical Self Nourishment Online E-Program! I am so honoured to be your guide and co-facilitator on this co-creative adventure of transformation. The journey has begun!! You have made a powerful commitment to yourself by your willingness to dive into this program. I look forward to getting to know you through this process and will be available if you have any questions or concerns throughout the program.

Please download and fill in the questionnaire and waiver below and send to me at contact@deborahbrodey.com this week. Have a look at the house rules and familiarize yourself with the zoom technology below. I have created a private facebook group for just our group so that we can share as we go along and dive in. If you are not on facebook let me know. I will be sending an email very shortly before we begin.

Set Up


We will be using Zoom conferencing for all of our live calls. If you haven’t used Zoom, it is similar to Skype, but much better. You do not need an account to join the calls.

I will send out the link to join a meeting an hour before each call begins. Simply click on the link and it will take you to the online meeting room. You can open Zoom on your computer, smart phone or tablet.

Your video and audio will be turned off when you join call. You can turn on the video or not as you choose. There will also be a chat box open at the beginning of each call. You can type in a hello and check that the audio settings are working.

Week 1
Establishing the container

We will begin with introductions, setting a safe and sacred container for our work together and clarifying our intentions. We will then have an overview of the 5 Niyamas, a sharing circle and practices to get us started! 

 Week 2  – Sauca – Cleansing: Inside & Out

This session will cover a wide range of practices and timeless teachings on cleansing practice as a foundation for Radical Self Nourishment. Learn sonic cleansing techniques with vocal sound healing and sound activations to clean on the inside as well as a very practical cleaning/clearing your physical space/creating special areas in your home with specific intentions to support you and your self-nourishment needs.

Week 3
Santosha-Cultivating contentment, joy and gratitude.

In this session we will access santosha through various practices that are appropriate to you, including discovering what’s in the way of you experiencing contentment and developing processes and practices to clear out these obstacles while nourishing and activating joy, contentment and self-love. This will also include a personal gratitude practice and a receiving practice.

Week 4 

Tapas – The Alchemy of Practice.

Implementing a regular practice plan that you will want to do! I will create practices for you that nourish each level of your system: body, breath, mind, deeper personality, and emotions drawing from various tools of Yoga including: asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practices), vedic chant, ritual, meditation, visualization and philosophy.

Svadhyaya – Seeing Ourselves Clearly

Svadhyaya – Seeing ourselves clearly In this session we will use various practices as a mirror to see ourselves. You will be given a powerful practice for your homework where you will guided in a journeying process to receive messages from nature!

Week 6
Isvara Pranidhan – The Art of Surrender.

In this session we will explore and cultivate our relationship with surrender and letting go through a variety of surrender practices and processes as well as a surrender ritual. We will also look at how this internal process and attitude can impact our actions in our lives and the world, and how it is a vital component of “right action”.

Week 7

The role of ceremony and reciprocity as a self-nourishment tool. In this session we will integrate all that has been learned, digested, integrated and embodied by co-creating a commitment ceremony for right relationship with ourselves, others and the earth. This will be a unique ceremony that will strengthen your relationship with yourself, open your heart and assist you with the integration of all that you have been practicing throughout the program and align you with the earth and all of life.
