Yoga is an ancient living practice and technology to bring integration and balance to the mind, body and spirit.
Yoga is a way of life and a powerful method for energy management and when practiced consistently with joy and dedication it supports the building and strengthening of our energy bodies to contain more of ourselves. Yoga is to be lived and applied to life. In Yoga, we develop our capacities to listen to the internal voice which includes: the voice of the body, mind and emotions. Yoga teaches us how to live in right relationship and reciprocity with Self, Earth & Community.
I am a Viniyoga teacher who studied with Rosemary Antze, a long time student of TKV Desikachar.
Viniyoga means to apply the tools and technologies of yoga appropriately to the context of each individual or to the group. Viniyoga incorporates Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, Vedic chant, ritual and philosophy (Yoga sutras and other texts).
Group yoga is offered through the Radial Self Nourishment program, in one-on-one setting and specialty workshops.

I have had the privilege of knowing Deborah Brodey for many years having met her when she first began teaching Yoga in Toronto. Since then, I have attended classes, retreats, sacred sound and vedic chanting workshops she has offered. Deborah is a gifted teacher and healer who has the ability to work across communities and issues. She embodies integrity, respect, generosity and warmth in her work.
Deborah is and has been a source of inspiration and support as I move through transitions in my own life. She has influenced my work as a therapist, yoga and meditation instructor and consultant, assisting me in finding my own voice. And did I say she is funny? She brings humour and lightheartedness to her work. It is a pleasure to work with Deborah!

In BYOP we develop your personal practice based on your needs and interest. We investigate unhealthy movement patterns that can cause injuries. We work with your breathe to connect you with your body. We look at your goals and build step-by-step practice to support the evolution of your healing and awakening.
Custom tailored Yoga workshop – I have designed many yoga practices for corporate private functions, retreats and collaborations with health centres and hospitals.
